Viva Free Market!!!

A beautiful sunny day here at Santa Fe, New Mexico.

I read that Dr. Rice is using Vietnam as a turning screw towards Russia.
Vietnam is being courted with membership to the WTO as they are where China was 15 years ago in terms of a fledgling Marxist/Free Enterprise government with abundant cheap labor.

It seems that Russia is balking about extending the free market any further than it has, even to the point of placing restrictions on foreign investment of business'.

Russia's entering the WTO is being delayed via Mr. Putin and his minions in the Politburo.

The WTO evens the playing field with all participants, restricting the larger economies from wielding excessive power in trade over the smaller economies.
Countries, such as Ireland, which use the practices effectively thus raising their standard of living. One very seldom sees an Irish national leaving the country for higher wages and living conditions as they once did.

Mr. Putin, and his nationalist cronies are paying a price for their use of oil and gas as an economic weapon with the EU. Poland is blocking any favorable trade agreements with Moscow, until they get favorable investment laws passed and enforced (WTO again) within the gulag.
