San Francisco school district has baned the JROTC program from it's public school system.
JROTC and the schools had a 90 year history together.
The school board stated that the units were nothing but recruiting tools for the military.
JROTC gives students a focus on discipline and aids in their educational and physical development. JROTC also gives them a feeling of a family that some of these students greatly need.
The San Francisco school board also derided the program for its anti-homosexual rules.
