Greetings!
I am back in the saddle after some time away to get some financial matters organized.
I note of late the vitriolic political attacks continue....
Some people are complaining about the constant attack upon the political persona.
I personally feel that this shows the true colors of the politician whom allows it to continue.
Take for example John Edwards. He hired two bloggers to put his slant on the internet. These two women he hired have shown their hatred towards the Catholic faith, as the Catholic Creed does not allow for killing any human being, no matter the age they obtain- Conception to Natural Death.
It seems these two women feel threatened by the love for life.
Next is Hillary Clinton leaving the "launch pad" after "Osama" Obama would not return one of her former Hollywood playmates' money.
I remember Mr. Grafin (-10sp) sleeping in the Lincoln bedroom as reward for giving the Clinton's 2nd presidential campaign a pile of cash.
It seems Mr. Grafin does not like Hillary because she voted for the War on Iran, which she now attempts to deny.
Those few National Politicians whom have yet to announce their run for the President of these United States, (2 more years of this!) The Democrat controlled House of Representatives and the nearly controlled Senate had pledged bi-partisanship.
This was short lived, thank the Lord!
Now the Pelosi/Mertha crew wants to take back their previous authority for the President to wage war.
Brings back fond memories of John Kerry when he stated that he was in favor of funding the troops, before he voted, in error to authorize the war.
The Democrat controlled Congress is now planning to take funding away from our action in Iraq, this is VERY reminiscent of how Congress acted during Vietnam.
This won't hurt anything you say?
Remember Pol Pot and the reeducation camps? This went on in Laos and Vietnam also. How do I know, I was involved in the rescue operation of the USS Mayaguez in the spring of 1975. The Khmer Rouge had captured the container ship off of the coast of Thailand.
Many fine men, women and children went to their deaths because the United States "redeployed." When the United States Retreats, we loose "face" and the deaths of our young are for not. Many Vietnam Veteran still harbor guilt over their brothers-in-arms who were captured and killed, especially when we had to deal with a country that did not support our efforts.
You simply can not "support our troops" if you refuse to support the operations they are involved with.

FREE SPEECH
It appears that free speech is still a good thing for the liberal leaning Congress, Press, et.al.
The House of Representatives is proposing a bill titled: Legislative Transparency and Accountability Act of 2007.
Feel free to access this bill through the CSPAN web site; you will note that in Section 220 of the bill, all "grass root" organizations which contact the American public over 500, to move them on important issues such as this one, will be regulated by the Congress and forced to follow onerous regulations which the large "special interest" groups are required to follow.

MINIMUM WAGE
The new Congress wishes to impose on all American business' a minimum wage increase, while I approve of this measure, there is one interesting tidbit.
Star Kiss Tuna, one of American Samoa 2 fish packing plants, which employ over 60% of the island population, are being exempted by Ms. Pellosi.
It seems that husband Paul owns a large share of Heinz corporation (see Sen. Kerry-Heinz,) which owns Star Kiss Tuna.
The federal labor law as written will keep the minimum wage under $4.00 for the fish packing industry.

ISALAM and the QUR'AN
The first "adult" male to follow Muhammad was a warrior named Abu Bakr, later to become the first Caliph.
Abu Bakr partook in all of the major battles waged by Muhammad: the Battle of Badr (624AD), the Battle of Uhud (625AD), and the Battle of Hunayn (630AD).
After Muhammad's death (632AD), the military leaders whom followed Muhammad elected Abu Bakr their new leader, he was hence forth known as Caliph Abu Bakr. His election was disputed by the Shi'a whom wished Ali, the son-in-law of Muhammad to be elected; this lead to the schism between the Sunni and Shi'a Islam.
After subduing all internal dissent and controlling Saudi Arabia, he directed his generals north into the Byzantine and Sussaned Empires. Iraq and Syria were defeated in two campaigns by a general named, Khalid bin Waldid.
Abu Bakr directed Umar ibn al-Khattab to collect the verbal revelations of Muhammad from those survivors who had memorised them. After the recording was accomplished, the writing was given to Hafsar bin Umar, daughter of Umar and one of the wives of Muhammad. This became the definitive text of Uthman ibn Affan's, and the basis of the Qur'an. Shi'as strongly reject this as the Qur'an.
Umar ibn al-Khattab became the second Caliph. During his reign, more battles were waged; Mesopotamia fell along with part of Persia, so did Egypt, Palestine, Syria, North Africa, Armenia, all of the Byzantine Empire, and Jerusalem.
After the death of Umar, Uthman ibn Affan was elected the third Caliph. During Uthman's rule all of Iran, most of North Africa, the Caucuses, and Cyprus were conquered. Uthman hired his tribal relations to rule the new lands, thus causing discontent as he was perceived to rule like a king rather than first among equals. Uthman formed committees to standardize the Qur'an into the text used today.
Synopsis: The Qur'an was written and edited into the basic text used today by a group of military leaders who attempted, and in many cases succeeded in conquering people of other beliefs; subjecting them to torture, death, or at the very least heavy financial penalties if they did not denounce their beliefs for Islam.
The Qur'an was developed after the Torah and the Bible. The Qur'an identifies the writers of the Bible as Prophets of God.
Opinion: I am finding it increasingly difficult to follow in lockstep with the media and politicians whom profess that Islam is a religion of peace. I also have difficulties with the Christian and Jewish groups which push for wars to further their own views of an approaching Armageddon. Religion should not be used by humans as an excuse for war and subjugation.

ATHEISM
ATHEISM IS AN OXYMORON.
ATHEISTS NEED GOD.
HOW CAN AN INTELLEGENT PERSON DISBELIEVE IN GOD
IF GOD DOES NOT EXIST?!
GOD DOES NOT NEED AN ATHEIST.

CHEROKEE CHRISTMAS
"Twas the night before Christmas
when all through the tribe,
Not a youngster was sleeping
even for a bribe.
The ballsticks were hung
over the fire with care,
In hopes that tomorrow
they would still be there.
The children were laying
upon their beds,
While elders told stories
that danced in their heads.
Mother in her Tear dress
I in my best,
Were about to leave
for Winterfest.
Suddenly in the village
we heard a clatter,
The sound
of Pitter-Patter.
Towards the noise
I ran like a bear,
Into the forest
nary a care.
Darkness drew close
shadows grew thin,
I realized I knew not
where to begin.
When to my eyes
what should appear,
A set of footprints
not of a deer.
The evidence before me
gave rise to thought,
I could not reveal them
they knew they'd been caught.
Elders told stories
of creatures which scare,
They looked like me
except for long hair.
Bodies so tiny
movements so poised,
Always careful
never a noise.
While stories taught
were never the same,
I began to remember
the People by name.
Long Hair and Blue
Wolf Clan and Paint,
Seeing them rush
my skin did flush.
Wild Potatoe was next
Bird and then Deer,
I knew not why
they acted in fear.
Quicker than deer
they did disappear,
Through forest and thicket
over the snow.
Tops of the trees
into the brush,
They scurried as rabbits
a terrible rush.
O'er rock and boulder
they did run quick,
Little feet moving
breaking no stick.
I laughed as I watched them
all wave Bye-Bye!
No word was spoken.
A promise made is
a promise not broken.
Many years later
my secret was told,
My wife and children
their interest did hold.
Hanging onto my words
their eyes so wide.
Listening and wondering
what was outside.
Loudly a yell came
from out of sight.
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
when all through the tribe,
